Entrepreneurialism … Risk taking on a Vision
By any other name, entrepreneurialism is the process of acting upon a vision risking name, health, reputation, and wealth in anticipation of achieving success! If nothing is
at risk or you are not acting upon your vision then you are a manager of the process, not the Entrepreneur. An Entrepreneur is compelled to take risks understanding that all can be lost. They know they may be attacked for their ideas and that maybe what they think is a “great idea” will do a flop in the marketplace. The Marketplace is the ultimate corrective agent for Entrepreneurs. Failure is always an option for an Entrepreneur. In many ways, failure is expected to occur not just once, but many times as the Entrepreneur finds what works, interprets the visions, and puts into place the process.
All the visions, ideas, kudos, support, and prayer will not make an Entrepreneur until they ActNow! Action is necessary! Without it, it is just a potentially great idea, product, or service. God provides us with many visions and we choose to act upon them using free will. The beauty of it all, from a consumer perspective, is that God’s will shall be done. So if one does not act, someone else will have the vision and act upon it. End result, an Entrepreneur is born bringing to fruition awe inspiring products, services, and ideas.
